Since June last month, Garuda’s subsidiary low cost carrier Citilink increase the number of its flight departing from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in East Jakarta.
Citilink add one mor flight to its Jakarta-Yogyakarta, Jakarta-Semarang and Jakarta-Malang flights. While on the Jakarta-Palembang route, added to more flights departing from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.
These routes, mid June the low cost carrier also increase its flights linking capital Jakarta with Medan and Bali’s Ngurah Rai Interantional Airport. (ds)
Express Air Links Pontianak to Johor Bahru
On June 14 domestic carrier Express Air commenced it new route, linking Pontianak in West Kalimantan with Malaysian city of Johor Bahru in a bid to boost the business and travel in the two cities.
The Express Air new route between the two cities is served daily with one flight. “We are hoping that the new flight will help accomodate the demand for transportation among people in West Kalimantan. We believe that it will also boost our economy,” said Syarif Usmulyani, state-run airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II operations manager at Supadio Airport as quoted by Antara.
He added. Malaysian low cost carrier AirAsia had also shown interest in linking Pontianak to international destinations. (ds)Author:
